سازمان یافته حقوق بشر در ایران

ایرانی اولین سمپوزیوم حقوق بشر خود را در تورنتو برگزار خواهد کرد.
از جمله اهداف
این نشست بررسی حقوق شهروندی و مدنی در ایران می باشد. این سمپوزیوم تلاش می کند
که نقض سازمان یافته حقوق اقلیت های جنسی، مذهبی، قومی و سیاسی و همچنین حقوق زنان
و کودکان در ایران را به تصویر کشد. این سمپوزیوم گزارش هایی را در رابطه با موارد
بی شماری از تبعیض، آزار، شکنجه و پی آمدهای آن برای اقلیت هایی که در ایران زندگی
می کنند، بررسی و ارائه خواهد نمود.
قوانین ایران
همجنسگرایی را جرمی می داند که مجازات مرگ دارد، به زنان حقوق برابری با مردان
نداده است، فعالان سیاسی و مدافعان حقوق بشر همواره تحت فشار هستند. این قوانین
بین اقلیت های دینی ازجمله مسلمانان سنی مذهب و بهائیان از نظر حقوق مدنی تفاوت
قائل می شوند. یهودیان نیز به جرم همکاری با دولت اسرائیل همواره تحت ظلم و فشار
هستند. این قوانین اقلیت های قومی را از تحصیل و گفتگو کردن به زبان مادری خود در
اماکن عمومی محروم می کند، این قوانین از لغو حکم اعدام برای کودکان و نوجوانان
جلوگیری می کند و متجاوزین به کودکان را آزاد می گذارد.
نقض حقوق بشر در
ایران توسط سازمان های حقوق بشری مانند سازمان دیده بان حقوق بشر و عفو بین الملل
در گزارش های سالانه آن ها به ثبت رسیده است. سازمان دیده بان حقوق بشر در گزارش
سال 2002 خود در رابطه با ایران می نویسد:
«شورای نگهبان
بارها لایحه های قانونی مجلس در رابطه با حقوق زنان، قوانین خانواده، جلوگیری از
شکنجه و اصلاح قوانین انتخاباتی را رد کرده است. قوه قضائیه که یکی از قوی ترین
نهادهای محافظه کاران در ایران شناخته شده است با اقداماتی نظیر تعطیلی روزنامه ها
و زندانی کردن فعالان سیاسی به نقض هر چه بیشتر حقوق بشر در ایران دامن می زند.» (

در این سمپوزیوم
کارشناسان در رابطه با وضعیت اقلیت های اجتماعی، سیاسی، قومی، مذهبی و جنسی در
جامعه ایران بحث خواهند نمود. در ادامه سخنرانان به بررسی راه های استقرار چنین طرز
تفکری در ابعاد قانونی، فرهنگی و اجتماعی خواهند پرداخت. طرز تفکری که به انزوای
میلیون ها تن از مردم می انجامد.
این سمپوزیوم
ابتکاری است که توسط سازمان دگرباشان ایرانی در تورنتو برنامه ریزی شده است. هدف
از برگزاری این نشست ایجاد یک فضای همکاری با دیگر مدافعان حقوق بشر برای دفاع از
حقوق بشر در ایران می باشد. در همین راستا ما از تمامی افراد و سازمان های علاقمند
دعوت می نماییم که در حمایت از حقوق اقلیت های ایرانی به ما بپیوندند. ما را تنها
رها نکنید.
شایان ذکر است
که جمعیت جهانی اقلیت های جنسی – ایلگا، سازمان حقوق بشر آرک – اینترنشنال و
کمیسیون بین المللی حقوق بشر اقلیت های جنسی از این سمپوزیوم حمایت کرده اند.

Glance at Systematic Violation of Human Rights in Iran

The first Human
Rights Symposium organized by Iranian Queer Organization (formerly PGLO) will
take place in Toronto, Canada.
This
symposium serves to highlight the systematic marginalizing, stigmatizing and
violating basic human rights of sexual, ethnic, religious and political
minorities in Iran as well as women and children. It will also explore the
ongoing struggle for civil and civic rights in Iran and investigate the myriad
forms of discrimination, persecution and torture and their consequences for
people living at the margin of Iranian society.
Iranian law
defines homosexuality as crime punishable by death, denies women’s equal rights
with men, persecutes political dissidents and civil and human rights activists,
discriminates against Muslim minorities such as Sunnis, brands Baha’is as heretics,
harasses Jews as potential collaborators with the state of Israel, deprives
ethnic and linguistic minorities of speaking in their mother tongues, refuses
to ban death penalty for minors and gives free hand to child abusers.
Iran’s violation
of human rights has been repeatedly documented and reported by Human Rights
Organizations such as Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International. Human
Rights Watch in its 2002 reports that:
“The Council of
Guardians repeatedly blocked bills passed by the Parliament in such areas as
women’s rights, family law, the prevention of torture, and electoral reform.
The judiciary, deployed as one of the conservative’s strongest weapons, further
undermined the rule of law with arbitrary closures of newspapers and imprisonment

In this symposium,
the expert panelists will discuss the current status of Iranian people who live
at the border of Iranian social, political, religious, ethnic, linguistic,
sexual, and gender lines. It further explores the different ways in which these
categories are legally, culturally and socially constructed so as to perpetuate
and maintain further marginalization and otherizing millions of people.
This symposium is an
initiative of Iranian Queer Organization (IRQO) based in Toronto. Its aim is to
create a collaborative space with other Human Rights defenders and
organizations to advocate human rights in Iran. As such it invites all the
interested individuals and organizations to join hands with IRQO in its effort.
